We will complete the Alberta curriculum for Pure Math 30 and Math 31. You will also write the Advanced Placement Calculus AB Exam on May 5, 2010. Our goal is for excellence on this exam.
You will receive marks for both Pure Math 30 and Math 31. Your mark for each will be determined by your performance on projects, assignments, quizzes and exams. All your unit exams will be cumulative. Your mark will be determined as detailed below.

At the end of the course, your Math 31 mark will be determined as above, your final Pure Math 30 mark will be the average of the school mark above and your mark on the Diploma Examination set by Alberta Education, to be written June 17, 2010. You will receive your mark for the AP Calculus exam in July, and this mark will determine your eligibility for post-secondary credit.
