The Importance of Activities

Extracurricular activities empower students to make decisions on their own and help them gain vital experience and skills that will accompany them for the rest of their lives.

At Strathmore High School, we encourage all students to find a home activity group, providing them with opportunities to use their unique talents successfully.

Athletics

An old man wandering around the Olympic Games looking for a seat was jeered at by the crowd until he reached the seats of the Spartans, whereupon every Spartan younger than him, and some that were older, stood up and offered him their seat. The crowd applauded and the old man turned to them with a sigh, saying 'All Greeks know what is right, but only the Spartans do it.'

Clubs

Strathmore High School offers a wide variety of clubs and intramural programs for students ranging from chess, to baking classes, to book clubs.

Fine Arts

The Greek's believed in producing well-rounded individuals that excelled in academics, athletics and fine arts! We try to instill those same values on our children.

We believe that fine arts programs allow our students to express themselves. Communication is an important part of a child's development and education.
