Community Members Interested in Hiring a Student for $50 on April 27th
Strathmore High will be holding a Community Work Day on Thursday April 27, 2023 as a fundraising event. The money raised has been earmarked for a LED presentation board for the gym. If you are a community member of Strathmore and would like some spring cleanup such as painting, washing windows, raking leaves, repair work, cleaning garages, washing cupboards, then for a fee of $50 SHS student are ready and willing to come and work for you.
How to Get Involved:
Please email jan.wathen@ghsd75.ca or cheryl.davidson@ghsd75.ca to register your job. Interested students will contact you. Hire a student for a day for only $50.00
How it Works:
On Thursday, April 27th from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, students will come to the work site. Please note that due to safety you must hire two students to come to your house. Only supervised and safe opportunities for SHS students will be accepted.
